How a press works

Four steps, from the key to the panel. Only the match step sends anything off your Mac, and it sends text.

  1. Listen

Keeps the last two minutes. Your microphone and the call's audio are held separately, in memory on your Mac. Older audio falls off the end. Audio is never sent anywhere.

  2. Transcribe

Reads the question on your Mac. When you press, the window is transcribed by a speech model running on your Mac. Usually the buyer has finished speaking, so this adds almost nothing.

  3. Match

Checks your own deck. Your Mac picks a shortlist of your cards. That shortlist and a short transcript excerpt go to Anthropic on your own key, and the best card comes back with a score.

  4. Answer

Answers, or says it can't. Above the confidence floor you see the answer and the card it came from. Below it you see "Bring SE in." On real calls on the author's Mac, the answer came in a couple of seconds.

Audio, and nothing to the author
  • Call audio never leaves your Mac.

Only the last two minutes are held, in memory, and they are transcribed on the Mac.

  • When you press, a short text excerpt goes straight to Anthropic under your own key.

The recent transcript and a shortlist of your cards, about 2,200 tokens of text. About $0.005 to $0.007 a press, billed to you by Anthropic.

  • Nothing goes to the author.

There is no account with the author and no server of theirs in the path.

Two ways to use it

The same free app either way. Start on your own today, or set it up once for a whole team when pilots open.

On your own

Install the app, keep your own Anthropic key in your Keychain, and build a deck from your own product material with the FEASE plugin for Claude Code. FEASE is free. Each press costs about $0.005 to $0.007 on your key.

For your company

Answers go through your company's own server. One person builds and approves the deck, and reps join with an invite. Pilots open later.

FEASE for companies
The buyer asks about call audio and gets the answer from the deck. Then they ask for a SOC 2 report, and FEASE says it has no confident answer.
